Malaysian Client Visits Joyshine for Taro Production Line Upgrade

A few days ago, Mr. Lim from Malaysia visited our factory. Having learned about Joyshine’s decade of expertise in food processing machinery online, he came to us with a clear goal: to upgrade his production line for taro strips and chips.

Mr. Chen and John accompanied Mr. Lim throughout the entire facility, where he closely examined every stage of the production line, including the washing, cutting, blanching, air-drying, frying, seasoning, and packaging units.

Mr. Lim currently uses a bubble washer and an air-drying system, but he has been struggling with poor drying efficiency, long processing times, and excessive moisture on the final product. Consequently, he paid special attention to our air-drying line during the visit. We conducted a test run using potatoes as a stand-in for taro. The strips passed through our air-knife drying system in less than half the time of his current equipment, delivering noticeably better results. The superior performance is due to our higher-powered drying system and an optimized air-knife layout tailored for efficient moisture removal.

During the inspection of the cutting machine, Mr. Lim expressed concerns about maintaining the length of the taro strips given their oval shape. To address this, our technician, Mr. Zhang, dismantled the cutting disc on-site to demonstrate the machine's internal structure. He explained how the feeding process utilizes centrifugal force to ensure each strip is cut into a uniform, consistent shape rather than fragments.

The visit was very productive, and John has finalized the equipment configuration with Mr. Lim. We are committed to supporting his project and look forward to helping him get his new, more efficient production line up and running. Mr. Chen, John, and Mr. Lim concluded the day with a group photo in the workshop followed by a pleasant dinner.
